Hey Everyone!
My name is Kiara Orr and I am a full time online student at Washington State University. I was born and raised in Washington State and love everything that Seattle has to offer. I recently graduated from Bellevue College in June with my Direct Transfer Associates degree and I have decided to earn my bachelor’s degree in Integrated Strategic Communications. I have created this blog for my communications 210 class that I am taking this fall semester. This blog will be the space that I use to upload new media content that I am creating for the class. Some interest and hobbies that I have are I love to attend monthly Paint and Sip classes with my boyfriend. So far, we have created 8 different paintings and next on our list is to attend a “Trap and Paint” session where you listening to rap and hip hop music while you paint. I’m still pretty undecided about my career goals. Currently I am an HR administrative assistant and I enjoy my job and can see myself working in HR long term. I also have a dream of working for a broadcasting station and being a producer or writer for their company. I think my career goal will ultimately be whatever career I find that makes me happy with a company that values me as their employee.
